Kind Words

What a fantastic and valuable experience. I couldn't recommend this hypnobirthing course with Andi enough - for any parents looking to plan for the best birth possible as well as know and understand your rights so you can make informed decisions about your body and your baby. This course is highly beneficial for expectant mums AND their birth partners. My male partner came away bursting with excitement and praise for Andi and how much he gained from doing the course. His words "the cake and brownie were worth the course investment alone, the course itself was priceless". Thank you Andi for a fantastic experience and your genuine care and support for parents going through this journey <3 I can't wait to share our birth story with you!

My partner and I really enjoyed Andi's hypnobirthing classes. We both feel relaxed, calm & excited about the birth of our baby girl. Andi is very passionate and well informed about all the choices we have going into birth and how to express them. The classes are not just for us Mamas, but our partners too to advocate for us through our pregnancy. Can't speak highly enough of Andi, and its a bonus if you live in Blenheim come along to pregnancy yoga!

Before Andi's hypnobirthing course I was feeling anxious and scared at the thought of labour and birth. Andi’s course has changed my whole perception of the journey, and I am now feeling confident, capable, calm and truly look forward to the day I give birth. Andi is incredibly passionate and supportive with a positive, kind and calming energy. Andi taught us so many different tools that we can use throughout the process and has reframed my thinking with such a positive light (even if birth takes a different path to what we are hoping for). My partner’s biggest fear going into labour and birth was not knowing how he could support me and be a part of it all, however since Andi’s course he has a big list of prompts and ideas which has given him the confidence to be an active support in my labour and birth – bring it on! Andi also runs an amazing yoga class. The class is so relaxing and calm and I always end up having a great night’s sleep after yoga (which is rare these days!!). Andi’s yoga class is the perfect way to slow down, bond with pēpi and recharge my mind and body. I am so grateful for having Andi’s support during my pregnancy so far!

“Thank you so much for the opportunity of attending your Hypnobirthing class. We both learnt so much, much more than we had during our antenatal class and after feeling a little overwhelmed with the information given in the antenatal classes, I’m now excited and ready to tackle this beautiful next stage! Blair was unsure about the class leading into it, but feels much more confident in what he needs to do and kept bringing up things last night that he learnt over the weekend - and even admitted himself last night, that it was a good for him to watch the birthing videos to prepare himself for ours :) I also didn't realise myself how little he knew about the birthing process (thought laying in the bed was the only option etc). I always knew he was going to be amazing on the day and do his best to help, but now I'm even more confident that he also has the knowledge and the tools to help me remain calm and advocate for me when needed. Can't thank you enough, also thank you for the gorgeous gift, already packed in my hospital bag”

“My wife, Carly, and I worked with Andi using the Hypnobubs Positive Birth Program. It was a truly wonderful experience and I learnt a lot about my role as a supportive birthing partner, and to help create a calm space for my wife to give birth. I learnt so much and I feel so much more prepared than I was. Andi is an amazing facilitator! I couldn't have wanted anyone else! Thank you”

I met Andi through her pre-natal yoga classes which I attended in my third trimester. From here, this weekly yoga practice which incorporated breathing techniques used in hypnobirthing and after learning more my partner and I started a hypnobirthing course. In my opinion, it is never too late in your pregnancy to learn from someone as knowledgeable and passionate as Andi, learning techniques and tools for you and your partner to provide the birthing experience. My partner especially recommends this over any other anti-natal course or readings we have done together throughout the pregnancy. He feels like finally he is in the best position to support my birth, feeling confident with what to do on the day and with our daily practices we have strengthened our connection as well as the connection to our baby. Thank you Andi for the opportunity to have the best birthing experience.

Andi's facilitation of the Hypnobubs course was at the heart of what drove us to ensure our birth was a positive experience. We went into it focused and prepared. We learned that we couldn't control what happened, but that we could influence the experience and prepare for whatever turn my birth took. We were armed with the confidence to explore options and empowered to question the status quo. I felt unstoppable, primal and powerful. My partner and I used so many tools from the program to enhance my experience - Affermations, Positions, Visualisations Accupressure, Meditations, Music and general knowledge of the birthing process. The pride I felt after birth was incredible. This course is the best investment any new parents can make.

Honestly your prenatal yoga was one of the best things i did this pregnancy! Even just little things i picked up, helped so much in easing my discomfort the last few weeks of my pregnancy. My kids got used to me walking around on all fours like it was just a normal occurrence, also during labour, my constant mantra in my head was “floppy face floppy fanny” hahaha and it clearly worked! So thanks a mill Andi, you do really vital work and it has been amazing to see the amount of support out there to help us women naturally do what we are designed for- that just didnt exist years ago when i had my first two boys xxx

“I really enjoyed prenatal yoga with Andi - it was just the right mix of hard work and relaxation. I had some pelvic issues related to my pregnancy and Andi was amazing providing me with options that would be suitable for me without aggravating the problem further. Yoga is such a lovely way to take some time out for yourself during pregnancy and help you prepare for birth, I can’t recommend these classes enough!”

~ Dora - Yoga Mama

“Andi is such an amazing yoga teacher. But more than that, she is a calming nurturing female presence, which helped me during my pregnancy and labour.  Andi shares many useful skills through her classes, which I found very helpful in my pregnancy as well as the birthing of my baby & mothering! Being part of a group of other pregnant mothers to-be was also lovely, as it fostered a sense of community and connectedness which is vital in this day and age. Especially with the huge identity shift of becoming a mother. Thank you Andi for all your gorgeous time and energy.”

Thank you Andi for the course last weekend! For me as a medical doctor there were a few things to unlearn :) and overall I felt very empowered and optimistic about giving birth by the end of the 2nd day. For my husband it was all new and he wasn't really keen on going but once he saw all the beautiful birth videos and learnt about self-hypnosis etc he truly changed his opinion and mindset. We are now very excited and positive about the birth of our baby! To be honest I even have a feeling I can't wait for this day hahaha :)

Andi's Yoga classes have been a fantastic way for me to connect with other mothers, share my own and learn about others journey's, All while gearing up my body for birth with calm practical yoga movements. Thanks so much Andi.

"I practised pre-natal yoga with Andi during my pregnancy. The pace was perfect for the changeable stages of pregnancy and we were all supported through our individual experiences - be it the nausea, back pain, tiredness or pelvis pain! Andi's class also gave us a space in which to share throughout our pregnancy journeys and connect with each other over the unique experience of growing a human.  I just loved the energy, the flow and the space in which to connect to other women going through this transformative time in life! Each week, the combination of asana would change slightly but there was always a focus on readying the body for later stages in pregnancy as well as birth. Andi created a space where we could all connect to a quieter self, away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. From taking part in these classes, I have made what I believe to be life long friends as well as having strengthened my connection to my body and my baby. Thanks Andi!".

Andi has created a truly special space for pregnant women to connect with their bodies, their growing babies and also with each other - I met some amazing women through Andi’s classes. Each practice was so restorative and lovely - a true gift!
